Type of UM UGM 2010
1. Search seeds
Search Bibit Unggul Not Able (PBUTM). Intended for students with high academic ability but could not economically, and steady build for the future with the UGM.
Participants proposed by the school. Each school submit a maximum of 2 (two) participants, for schools that send more than 2 participants then all the proposed participants are not selected. Participants pedaftaran exempt from fees.
Tuition fees for 8 (eight) semesters covered by GMU if meet specified academic achievement and evaluated each year.
b. Achieving Excellence Seed Search (PBUB)
Aimed at the student competition winners in science national level or Olympic finalist science international level. PBUB consists of scholarships and PBUB independent PBUB. Participants proposed by the school.
More courses should be in accordance with its achievements.
Tuition fees for 8 (eight) semesters entirely borne by the UGM to PBUB scholarships and paid by the parent / guardian to PBUB independent.
Participants who pass the selection file must follow the Academic Potential Test (TPA) held by the UGM were facilitated by their respective schools.
c. Sports Talent Search and the Arts (PBOS)
Aimed for students with special talents in sport or performance art with the provincial, national or international level finalists.
Participants proposed by the school. Tuition fees paid by parents / guardians of participants. Participants must follow the scholastic aptitude tests (TBS) and the Basic Sciences (IPD) at the selected location when registering. Participants who qualify IPD TBS and skills required in a test match at GMU talent.
Doctor of Education courses are not accepting new students through PBOS.
d. Talent Search Swadana (PBS)
Aimed for students with high academic ability. Participants proposed by the school. Tuition fees paid by parents / guardians of participants. Participants must follow the scholastic aptitude tests (TBS) and test the Basic Sciences (IPD) at the selected location when registering. Participants who pass the selection interview must take the test at UGM.
e. Superior Seed Search for Regional Development (PBUPD)
Aimed for students with high academic ability. This program is a form of concern GMU to regional development through partnerships between the regions with the UGM, based on the potential areas and local wisdom to the advancement and dignity of the Indonesian nation. Participants proposed and financed by the Government, government agencies at local, institutional, and / or the company that is credible in the region.
2. WRITE EXAM (Utul Um UGM).
Held to select new candidates qualified students with academic ability and potential to support excellence in education resolution UGM appropriate time limit has been set.
The test covers material selection Potential, Basic Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences.
Examination held in Yogyakarta, Semarang, Madiun, Jakarta, Tangerang, Cirebon, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Balikpapan, Lhokseumawe, Bandar Lampung, Batam, and Mataram.
3. SELECTION OF NATIONAL AFFAIRS IN HIGHER EDUCATION (SNMPTN)
In this program UGM receive as much 18% of total capacity. Organized by the Central Committee SNMPTN.

Registration Procedure and Selection Result Announcement
1. Search seeds
a. Participants PBUTM:
1. Fill out the form through the site http://um.ugm.ac.id (2 January to February 11, 2010).
2. Participants can choose only 1 (one) according to department courses at SMA / SMK / MA.
3. Image stofmap requirements included in the green and then sent / submitted to the Secretariat UM UGM. Completeness of the information files can be viewed on the site http://um.ugm.ac.id.
4. Files received no later than Monday, February 15, 2010.
5. Selection Committee is completely UM UGM 2010.
6. Results of selection was announced on Saturday, March 13, 2010 through http://um.ugm.ac.id site.
7. Admissions decisions are final and can not be contested.
b. Participants PBUB:
1. Paying the registration fee is Rp. 350,000.00 (three hundred and fifty thousand dollars) through a multi-payment system Bank Mandiri. Payment instructions can be found at the site http://um.ugm.ac.id.
2. Login to the site http://um.ugm.ac.id for completing the registration form (2 January to February 4, 2010).
3. Participants can choose 2 (two) courses based on priority.
4. Image stofmap requirements included in the blue and sent / submitted to the Secretariat UM UGM. Completeness of the information files can be viewed on the site http://um.ugm.ac.id.
5. Files received no later than Monday, February 8, 2010.
6. Results file selection requirements announced Saturday, February 13, 2010 through http://um.ugm.ac.id site.
7. Participants who pass the selection file must follow the landfill Monday, February 22, 2010 at their respective schools.
8. Selection Committee is completely UM UGM 2010.
9. The results of the final selection was announced Saturday, March 13, 2010 through http://um.ugm.ac.id site.
10. Admissions decisions are final and can not be contested.
c. Participants PBOS:
1. Paying the registration fee is Rp. 350,000.00 (three hundred and fifty thousand dollars) through a multi-payment system Bank Mandiri. Payment instructions can be found at the site http://um.ugm.ac.id.
2. Login to the site http://um.ugm.ac.id for completing the registration form (2 January to February 11, 2010).
3. Participants can choose 2 (two) courses based on priority.
4. Verification / re-list of participants (9 sd February 12, 2010) at the location selected for the test. Schedule and address of the service, and completeness of the information files can be viewed on the site http://um.ugm.ac.id.
5. TBS and the IPD be held on Sunday, February 21, 2010.
6. Participants who pass the selection TBS and the IPD should follow the GMU Skills Test (Sunday, March 7, 2010).
7. Selection Committee is completely UM UGM 2010.
8. The results of the final selection was announced Saturday, March 13, 2010 through http://um.ugm.ac.id site.
9. Admissions decisions are final and can not be contested.
10. Participants who accepted the obligation to undertake Success Study Preparation Program at Gadjah Mada University (matriculation).

2. WRITE EXAM
a. Paying the registration fee is Rp. 200,000.00 (two hundred thousand dollars) through a multi-payment system Bank Mandiri. Payment instructions can be found at the site http://um.ugm.ac.id.
b. Login to the site http://um.ugm.ac.id for completing the registration form (21 January to 16 March 2010).
c. Participants can choose 3 (three) courses based on priority.
d. Verification / re-list of participants (10 sd March 17, 2010) at the location selected for the test. Schedule and address of the service, and completeness of the information files can be viewed on the site http://um.ugm.ac.id.
e. Write exam held Sunday, March 28, 2010.
f. Selection Committee is completely UM UGM 2010.
g. Selection results announced Saturday, April 17, 2010 through http://um.ugm.ac.id site.
h. Admissions decisions are final and can not be contested.
